Arbequina Olives Feature

  • 11.8fl.oz - 350mL (300g net - 160g drained)
  • This gourmet product is made in Spain
These olives are the traditional appetizer served prior to every Catalan meal. The robust flavor of these small olives is slightly sweet, yet mildly bitter.

As with all Solera Luna brand products, quality and tradition are the only things that matter. These are not a mass market products, they are 100% home-made rustic cooking. Each product in the Solera Luna line is crafted by hand in a small country kitchen. One kitchen, one cook, one product at a time. Our olives are made in one kitchen by a family who have been harvesting olives since before Columbus. Similarly, the Marcona Almonds come from family run orchards and are packed by hand in a small rustic farm, as are our beans, sauces, and spreads. Each farm has its specialty, each farm has its tradition. We pass that tradition on to you with our Solera Luna line or rustic products.

Be assured, quality and tradition are never compromised, but neither is safety. Each field is certified by the Spanish government; each kitchen in Spain licensed by the United States Food and Drug Administration; and each bottle inspected for safety. No compromises here.

Coquet Arbequina Olives by La Tienda Feature

  • Tiny sweet brown olives with big flavor!
  • Sweet, firm texture
  • Naturally cured in just salt and water
  • Use for salads and snacking
  • Size - 2 x 7.05 oz/200 g drained weight
Most Arbequina table olives are grown in Aragón and Cataluña, near the border of France in the locality of Garrigues. These olives have a sweet and firm texture, with a color ranging from pale green to medium brown -- which is a good way to describe their wonderfully elusive taste -- somewhere between that of a green and a brown olive. Naturally cured with just salt, water and a touch of thyme, these tiny brown pasteurized olives have a sweet robust flavor. Arbequina olives go well with fresh fruits and garden salads or on their own as a snack.
